Temtem: Swarm, the wildest evolution of the Temtem Universe

What happens when you take the colorful world of Temtem and throw it into the chaotic firestorm of a bullet hell? The answer is Temtem: Swarm, a fast-paced, highly replayable spin-off that turns your favourite Tems into the stars of a wild twin-stick shooter.

Co-developed with Crema, Temtem: Swarm is already available to play on Steam, with the full version coming later this year, packed with even more content, polish, and surprises.

But before we talk synergies and ultimates… let’s talk about how this whole thing started.

…a joke that got out of hand

Some of the devs at Crema and GGTech Studios have been friends for years. One winter, during a holiday retreat in a rural house, right around the time Vampire Survivors launched on mobile, someone casually asked:

“What if we made a Vampire Survivors… but with Tems?”

Cue laughter. A throwaway joke. Another bite of turrón. But the idea lingered. It came up again. And again. Eventually, it turned into meetings, prototypes, and finally… an actual game.

Because sometimes, the best ideas come from friends hanging out and dreaming up nonsense.

Fast-paced action with a Temtem twist

Temtem: Swarm is a twin-stick, survivor-like shooter where you can go solo or team up with up to 3 players in online co-op. Defeat swarms of Tems, gain XP, evolve, and unlock powerful new abilities. Capture Tems during your run to gain unique Traits and devastating Ultimates, then combine them to create absurdly overpowered builds.

Getting stomped? Use Ghost Mode in co-op to support your friends until they can safely bring you back. No friends online? No problem, matchmaking will get you into the action in seconds.

More than just a spin-off

Temtem: Swarm doesn’t just adapt Temtem’s combat, it reinvents it. Watching familiar faces like Yowlar, Gharunder, or Oceara become screen-filling bosses is thrilling (and sometimes terrifying). Every match feels fresh, and every decision, which Tem to evolve, which power-ups to stack, which synergy to chase, makes a huge difference.

Temtem: Swarm is living proof that sometimes, the best games start with a silly idea shared between friends.

Play it now on Steam, and get ready for the full Swarm experience coming later this year.
