To promote the launch of its new Intel Core ULTRA processors, Intel partnered with eWorlds to create a gamified speedrun experience that blended digital gameplay with real-world activation. Hosted both online via Steam and on-site at Gamergy Spain 2024, the competition invited players to put their reflexes—and processors—to the test.
The map challenged players to race through a dynamic, futuristic course, collecting processor checkpoints that granted speed boosts. Each checkpoint represented the power and efficiency of the new Intel Core ULTRA, translating the product’s core features into fast-paced gameplay. The experience was designed not just to entertain, but to embed the brand message into every run.
Seamless integration, digital to physical
The map’s visual design mirrored Intel’s physical booth at Gamergy, creating a cohesive and immersive brand world. From the sleek, tech-inspired environment to the exclusive Intel-themed player skins, every detail reinforced the theme of ultra speed. A live leaderboard displayed in the booth kept the competitive energy high and encouraged visitors to improve their times in real time.
